Single or double service?

single service is commonly held entirely at one location. The most common places for a single service are at graveside, crematorium or the funeral home chapel.

double service is the most requested type of funeral. It usually involves a service either in a church or at a chapel and then a funeral procession to the cemetery or crematorium. This provides the greatest opportunity for tradition and participation of family and friends.

The format of a funeral service can have a considerable effect on costs. It is much simpler if you combine the ceremony and service at the same location.

Keep in mind that a big drawback of a service at a cemetery or crematorium is the time constraints set by cemeteries and bookings of other funerals before and after your own.
