Wooling Hill is such a beautiful, tranquil and peaceful place. Troy made the whole process of saying goodbye to our loved one a memorable and special day.

It was with much sorrow that my Dad and I recently said goodbye to my beautiful Mum. We had discussed with her before her passing, a final resting place at Wooling Hill. Troy's compassion and level of care was so appreciated in this awful time in our lives. Nothing was a bother and his prompt organisation greatly helped Dad and myself moving forward. Thank you again Troy for everything you did for Dad and myself. I will tell everyone about Wooling Hill.

My family and I are absolutely grateful to Troy Upfield and all the staff from Chapter House Funerals. The Funeral Service we had for my Late Uncle was just beautiful. Due to Covid Lockdowns I was feeling sad as we only had a small number of 4 people who could attend, as most of our family live overseas and interstate. I thought it would feel very lonely and more difficult for us to celebrate my Uncle’s life with so few people. Quite the contrary, Troy gave our family here and overseas the option of participating with the use of Zoom and it was absolutely amazing. They could see us, get up and share a few words from the comfort of their lounge rooms. It honestly felt like we were being hugged by all our relatives near and far. From start to end everything Troy and his team gave us was exemplary, it’s never easy to arrange a funeral for a loved one. Plus the fact you’re trying to get everything right for other family members, makes it very stressfull indeed. The amount of times I had to ring Troy to change and re-confirm details was becoming embarrassing, never the less Troy and Susan assured me it was never an issue. Troy was kind very paitient and so understanding he made the whole process for me so much easier. We had the service at Wooling Hill Memorial Estate and that I would highly reccomend to anyone. We travelled all the way from Geelong up to the Estate a couple of days before, just so we would know where to go. Believe you me the Estate is so beautiful and the most picturesque and relaxing venue I have ever been to for a funeral. The memorial gardens are absolutely lovely and the whole Estate gives you a feeling of serene peace. The chapel is gorgeous and the courtyard and the lounge room leading off from the Chapel, gives you a beautiful place to sit with friends and family for tea and coffee after the service. We sincerely thankyou Troy and all of your staff from Chapter House, and Wooling Hill Estate. It was a privilege to celebrate our loved one’s life and farewell him in such a beautiful venue. Then the opprtunity to stroll through of your gardens afterward to enjoy it’s ambience was an absolute pleasure. Tina, Iovane and family.

I wanted to express our gratitude for the wonderful team at Chapter House, especially Troy, William and Steve. We lost our baby recently and though one of the most traumatic experiences of loss, we were able to find closure with Troy taking care of everything to have baby picked up, cremated and returned to us at no charge. Everything was done with the upmost respect and tenderness. Thank you again x

My association with Chapter House became a long one - in fact, many months. My dear Dad & I worked on his service together for several years before his illness claimed him. I wanted this to be Dad's service; one which gave him the major role in its compilation. It was a treasured thing to embark upon - one which helps to sustain me now. I looked long & hard for the right form of service provider, but NONE was 'right'. None had that extra touch which says immediately, 'This is the one!'. Then, serendipitously, I FOUND the one! To say that something, bigger than I will ever be able to understand, guided me to Chapter House, would be accurate in my eyes. Every member of the Chapter House family is incredible: caring, understanding, imaginative & totally professional - so forward thinking that one might describe Chapter House as being 'before its time'; actually, as far as I'm concerned, a new benchmark has been set! We all deserve the very best of support, treatment & care at this time - Chapter House gives this like no other! I cannot detail all the ways that Chapter House exceeded expectations; there are SO MANY. Suffice it to say, that my time spent with Troy, Steve & Debbie was supportive & professional to an extent that I have never before experienced in a business. Each visit to Chapter House in Kew was like 'going home'. The pain of losing my precious Dad was terrible but the welcome that 'my friends' at Chapter House gave me each time I walked through their door, was balm to my grief, and the service that Chapter House co-ordinated, & fine-tuned for me, was absolutely perfect. I'm able only to give 5 stars in this review; ideally, I would prefer to make it 50 stars............... but why stop there!!!! An eternally grateful Tricia, & my brother Jeremy
