At eziFunerals, we’re committed to providing you with current and accurate information to help you make informed funeral decisions. To do that we rely on the support of our members and our commercial partners to help us meet the costs of delivering our services to you. As a business, we make money in a number of ways:
Funeral services and products
Consumers who decide to use our funeral concierge, planning or tracing service may be required to pay a service fee. These fees have been applied to cover cost of online systems development, customer support, and upfront time and costs incurred in order to provide our services and products.
Funeral Quote Requests
eziFunerals takes privacy and confidentiality very seriously. When you complete a Quote Request form we will only pass on your contact details to the relevant funeral directors who service your specified area. The funeral directors who receive these details are at our discretion and may include Premium Members (who pay us a monthly subscription fee).
Funeral Directors
Subscription and lead fees: Member funeral directors who decide to list on our site pay a monthly subscription or lead fee. We may list the order of these funeral directors based on the level of membership, area searched and date of listing, so please don’t interpret the listing order as an endorsement or recommendation from us. Refer to our funeral director pricing page for information on the different levels of membership.
Commercial partnerships
Referral fees: When you click on a link on eziFunerals that leads to a third-party website that we have a commercial arrangement with, or if you fill out a form on our site to arrange a booking with a partner, we may receive a commission, referral fee, payment or advertising fee. We may sort or promote the order of these products (including funeral director listings) based on our commercial arrangements.
While we do have commercial arrangements with some providers, this doesn’t mean that we always receive compensation every time you click on a link or apply for a product or service. In some instances, we only receive a payment if you decide to buy or obtain a product or service.
Display advertising
This is when partners buy banners or other advertising on our site. Like many publishers, we use display advertising to help cover our costs, and we always make sure that advertisements are clearly distinguished from our editorial content.
