The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) is a statutory authority of the Government of Western Australia responsible for managing cemeteries at Fremantle, Guildford, Karrakatta, Midland, Pinnaroo and Rockingham.
The MCB conducts 78% of all funerals in Western Australia, with the remaining funerals conducted at regional cemeteries under the control of local government.
During 2019/2020 there were 12,037 funerals at MCB sites comprising 9,840 cremations, 2,063 burials and 134 mausoleum entombments.
