OUR STORY
Founded in 2011, eziFunerals was born from a deep personal commitment to reform Australia’s funeral industry. After years of family experience, research, and firsthand conversations with grieving Australians, we saw a serious gap: families were overwhelmed, under-informed, and often pressured during one of life’s most emotional times.
We realised that most Australians had little understanding of their funeral rights, the true costs of services, or the options available to them. Too many people told us, “It all happened so fast,” or “We didn’t know where to start.” These were not isolated stories — they reflected a national problem in how families access funeral information.
That’s why we created eziFunerals — Australia’s Independent Funeral Planning Authority. Our mission is to empower families with knowledge, transparency, and choice. We believe planning a funeral shouldn’t be about sales or pressure; it should be about care, clarity, and confidence.
